Adnan Faisal Kundi obtained his Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi in 1998. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from CFA Institute, USA. He is founding partner and the Chief Executive Officer of Scalexperience LLC (ScaleX), a startup accelerator and pre-seed fund focused on global products from Pakistan. He has managed technology portfolio for US based hedge funds and later pioneered the Global Acceleration Program at National University of Science and Technology (NUST). He carries first-hand experience of high-tech entrepreneurship and is well connected to ecosystems of US, China and Pakistan. He has developed deep understanding of global markets, macroeconomic frameworks and geopolitics with investing experience in industrial and technology sectors on a global scale. He is well-versed in quantitative and qualitative techniques for Portfolio Selection.

In 2009-13, he was associated with Corey Macro Capital- a US based investment advisor focused on Long Short strategies in multiple asset classes with macro-overlay. As Portfolio Manager, Global Markets, he provided assistance in macro-themes emerging out of Asia Pacific in general and China in particular. He was also responsible for professional advice on the attractiveness of external funds as well as direction and guidance for Fund selection. He led the team responsible for investment management process of equity and fixed income assets classes in Technology, Telecom, Industrial & Housing Sectors. Fundamental analyses, hedging, position sizing on the basis of VAR and investment timing driven by analyzing fundamentals, insider trade patterns and short ratios were core functions of the team. As Senior Analyst, Global Markets in Timescape Global Capital- the predecessor of Corey Macro Capital- he led the investment management process for Technology & Telecom Sectors.    

During 2014-20, he headed the Technology Incubation Center (TIC)- the largest and prestigious technology focused incubator of Pakistan at NUST, Islamabad. He was responsible for strategy development and administrative execution of all aspects of the Center, with focus on monetization strategies and organic growth. His experience in the Center connected him to entrepreneurial ecosystem and investment landscape of US and China.

Since 2020, he is managing ScaleX and provides tech start-ups with strategy and growth services, and international market access to help them scale globally.

He is on the Boards of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) and Charter Member of Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs (OPEN) and voluntarily contributes to the endeavors of these organizations.
