Dr. Sabina Asif completed her FCPS in Public Health and Community Medicine in 2002. In 2009, she obtained Fellowship in Public Health Medicine from Royal Colleges of Physicians, UK. In 2021, she obtained her Master in Health Professional Education from Khyber Medical University. She is on several policy boards and have positively influenced policy on healthcare quality and standards, healthcare financing, and medical education by providing evidence-based recommendations. Her professional career-from the position of Junior House Officer in 1986 to professorship in 2016 and to her present occupation as member of the Policy Board for Healthcare Financing Scheme, coupled with regular academic progression and continuous professional development effort- is an amazing journey.
