Member Pakistan-India-Afghanistan Forum for Peace & Democracy and UN Women; Member Women Regional Network; Ombudsperson for Protection of Women Against Harassment at Workplace.

Rukhshanda Naz obtained her LL. B from Khyber Law College. In 1996, she completed a Certificate in Human and Women Rights from Freedom House Washington DC, USA as a participant in the South Asia Citizens Exchange Programme.  She obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Peace and Reconciliation Studies, her LL.M degree in International Law, and a Masters in Peace and Reconciliation Studies from Coventry University, UK. During 1993-2008, she worked as Resident Director of Aurat Publication and Information Service Foundation, Peshawar, and managed the regional office of Aurat Foundation. She has been an activist in Pakistan Women’s Movement since the early 1990s. Her work for peace started with issues of Afghan Refugees and the Peace Movement for Pakistan and India. She is a member of the Pakistan-India-Afghanistan Forum for Peace and Democracy and UN Women. She is also a member of the Women Regional Network (Pakistan, India, and Afghanistan). Since January 2019, she has been holding the position of Ombudsperson for the Protection of Women Against Harassment in the Workplace.
