PESHAWAR — The Executive Board of Advocacy for Sustainable Policy and Implementation Reforms (ASPIRE-KP) convened for a comprehensive review meeting on 30 October 2025 at the organization’s office in Niazabad, Peshawar. Presided over by Chairman Mohammad Shehzad Arbab and attended by senior board members and administrative leadership, the session focused on evaluating the progress of ongoing research interventions and assessing institutional collaborations established over the preceding quarter. A central component of the review included ASPIRE-KP’s direct technical engagements with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Assembly, particularly the policy advisory provided on key provincial legislation such as the Mines and Minerals governance framework.
During the meeting, the board deliberated on the strategic roadmap for upcoming quarter deliverables, placing particular emphasis on regional dynamics, provincial fiscal autonomy, and public sector governance. Members finalized plans for high-level policy events—including the forthcoming expert roundtable on Pakistan–Afghanistan regional tensions and specialized position papers concerning the National Finance Commission (NFC) framework. Reaffirming its mandate as an independent, evidence-based policy platform, ASPIRE-KP resolved to continue bridging the divide between academic research and legislative decision-making to advance sustainable socioeconomic development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
